Become a coach

If you think cricket is a great sport and you would like to become a cricket coach, what should you do? First of all, it is important to know which courses are available and how much time you have to invest to follow such a course.

From the age of 15 you can already participate in the Cricket4KIDS program. This training lasts 3 hours. If you have finished the training course you will receive a certificate and, under the guidance of a coach, you can organize a Cricket4KIDS activity. From the age of 18 you can organize these activities completely independently.

If you want to continue teaching cricket, you can participate in the KNCB level 1 (beginner coach) coaching course from the age of 16 and you can follow this up with the KNCB level 2 youth coach course from the age of 18. During these courses you will learn how to teach and get a better understanding of various cricket techniques.

More information on the courses is available in the app. There you will also find what costs are involved when taking part in the courses.
